Colton has moved into the next toddler room at daycare/school. He is now a Swordfish! This was his last day as a Starfish.
For the second time seeing Santa in his little life, Colton had luke warm feelings about the old guy. He didn’t really cry but not overjoyed either. This year I’m certain the only thing Colton asked Santa for was to keep his trusted blue bunny lovey safe and sound. Our visit to Santa was such a sweet experience we got to share with Colton’s Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Thiessen from Canada.
Little Colton’s First Visit with Santa
I thought Colton would like being a bird. I chose a parrot costume since a bird sound is the first animal sound Colton learned – “caw, caw, caw” he said and pointed in the air. I spent hours on his feathered costume and… he hated it. I think he thought it was a living animal attacking him. But eventually the “caw, caw” grew on him and he enjoyed Mexican food at a friend’s kids party and knocking on doors… and generously giving the neighbors his candy rather than receiving theirs…. Happy Halloween 2013!
Colton enjoyed seeing the marine life at Sea World with great auntie Ruth a few weeks ago. Well, he mostly just enjoyed the big playground with big squishy blocks they have in the Sesame Street section of the amusement park!
